Thang Thawn Khai (Khaitawng) and his family has arrived from Delhi to Brisbane on July 19, 2009. Thang Muan, the Secretary of Zomi Community Queensland went to pick them up at the airport. Some leader of the Zomi Community had a welcome function with the new arrivals and they are planning to have a feast together in the near future.
Khaitawng is 30 years of age and originate from Gawng village in Myanmar. His wife is Man Vung (24 years of age) and is basically from Seitual village. The couple have a girl child, Niang San who is 11 months old.
A report has been received from Zomi SA (Adelaide) Secretary that on July 23, 2009 morning Biak Khan Thang Hatlang has arrived from Malaysia to Adelaide city. Biak is basically from Chan Tazi village.
Moreover, the report cites that Nurse Lun's mother Nu Niang also arrived Adelaide earlier this month.
